Dong Da knoll
After the landslide Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victories against the Quing invaders, the Quing soldiers dead bodies were assembled and buried in the 12 great collective tombes around Dong Da battle field as 12 knolls. The 12 knolls were then leveled and the remains of bodies were assembled in the (13th) knoll that we can see nowadays.
At this historical site, there is a statue of Quang Trung emperor, as well as his proclamation before his outstanding campaign against the northern invaders:
"Đánh cho để dài tóc
Đánh cho để đen răng
Đánh cho nó chích luân bất phản
Đánh cho nó phiến giáp bất hoàn
Đánh để cho sử tri Nam quốc anh hùng chi hữu chủ"
